This is a fantastic and refined Blanc de Blancs. So layered and complex, with lemon curd, chalk, hazelnuts, pastries, baked apples and almond croissants. The 2012 Brut Blanc de Blancs Comtes de Champagne is showing beautifully out of the gates, offering up demonstrative aromas of sweet golden orchard fruit, buttery croissants, peach and hazelnuts. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and enveloping, it’s a rich, textural, vinous Comtes somewhat reminiscent of the brilliant 2002. If it gains in tension and cut (as the 2002 did and as I suspect the 2012 will) with more time on cork, it will make this initial rating seem conservative. Delivery costs are included in the price. No further shipping charges will be applied at GiftRound checkout.
Deliveries are normally between 09.00 and 17.00 Tuesday to Friday and a signature is required on receipt of delivery. (We do not ship on a Friday for Monday delivery unless specifically requested to do so).
If you are out a card is left, with an instruction to call the local depot to re-arrange delivery. Please remember that, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions, alcohol will only be left with persons over 18 Years Old.
Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy
If you return an item because of an error on our part, or it is defective, we will happily refund or replace the item. Just contact GiftRound via email store@giftround.co.uk
For defective items we may need to have it returned so that we can give it back to the winemaker who may want to run further test on it (no animals will be involved).
